Senior Consultant – Internal Audit (IT) – Dubai – 6 to 10 Years Experience
Job Description
We are seeking a high-impact Senior Consultant – Internal Audit (IT) who can go beyond standard audit practices to strengthen client security, risk, and governance frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in IT audits, VAPT, and IT risk management, along with the ability to deliver strategic insights in a consulting environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute ITGC, IT process, and cybersecurity audits
- Conduct risk assessments and implement IT governance frameworks
- Perform VAPT, control testing, and security reviews across systems, networks, and applications
- Evaluate IT infrastructure, identify gaps, and provide actionable recommendations
- Conduct ISO implementations and audits (ISO 27001, ISO 20000-1, ISO 22301, etc.)
- Review policies, perform walkthroughs, and ensure compliance with best practices
- Collaborate with client IT teams to remediate gaps and strengthen controls
Job Requirements
• 6–10 years of experience in IT Audit, ITGC, VAPT, IT Risk, BCMS, or Cybersecurity
• Strong hands-on experience in VAPT, SOC operations, and threat handling
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics
• Solid understanding of IT controls, infrastructure, and security frameworks
• Knowledge of ISO standards, NIST, and COBIT
• Strong analytical, auditing, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as CISA, CEH, or ISO Lead Auditor
• Experience in consulting environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to deliver strategic recommendations and insights
