Job Description:
Tekshapers is seeking a talented and experienced AWS DevOps Lead to join our team onsite in New Jersey. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and implementing DevOps practices and processes within our AWS environment to optimize efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain DevOps practices and tools within AWS infrastructure.
  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers to ensure successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes.
  • Develop and implement best practices for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and configuration management.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure and applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Stay current on AWS services, tools, and best practices to continually improve our DevOps capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 12 to 14 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 5 years in a DevOps leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools and technologies such as Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing DevOps teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders..

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar certification.
  • Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
