Job Description
Swim Recruiting is actively seeking a Junior Information/Cyber Security Analyst to join our client’s team in downtown Vancouver. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and apply cybersecurity skills in a collaborative SOC environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents.
- Work with cybersecurity tools to identify and mitigate security threats.
- Collaborate within the SOC team to maintain network security and protect organizational assets.
- Support day-to-day security operations and threat analysis.
Job Requirements
• 1-2 years of experience in cybersecurity (co-op and internships included).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and experience within a Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to security incidents.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications or training in cybersecurity are an asset.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and tools.
