Job Description:
Appzlogic is seeking a skilled VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) Expert to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in identifying, assessing, and remediating security vulnerabilities in software and mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on software and mobile applications.
  • Analyze and report security findings to stakeholders, including detailed remediation recommendations.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Stay updated on emerging security threats and industry trends to proactively address potential vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in security reviews and audits as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
  • Deep understanding of common security vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
  • Hands-on experience with security assessment tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, or similar.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or CISSP are preferred.
  • Experience with secure coding practices and familiarity with OWASP Top 10 is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CEH, OSCP, CISSP or similar certifications.
  • Experience with secure coding practices and OWASP Top 10.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
