Job Description
As a VAPT Engineer at Infovision HR Consulting Services, you will be responsible for performing Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) across a variety of systems, applications, and networks. Your role will involve identifying security vulnerabilities, assessing risks, and recommending mitigation strategies to protect the organization’s assets.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of applications, networks, and systems.
- Analyze findings and prepare detailed reports on vulnerabilities, risks, and recommended remediation.
- Collaborate with other security teams to validate vulnerabilities and ensure they are addressed effectively.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security vulnerabilities, threats, and attack methods.
- Assist in the development of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Job Requirements
• 4 to 5 years of experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).
• Expertise in using VAPT tools such as Nessus, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and others.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and other security frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in network and web application security testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of tasks.
• Knowledge of cloud security and experience with testing in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
