Job Description

We are hiring for a motivated and experienced VAPT Engineer (L2) to join our cybersecurity team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities across multiple platforms.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed vulnerability assessments and penetration tests (manual and automated) across web applications, networks, servers, and mobile platforms.
  • Identify, exploit, and report vulnerabilities, providing in-depth analysis and remediation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure vulnerabilities are understood and addressed.
  • Develop and customize penetration testing scripts and tools to automate testing processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence.
  • Participate in post-assessment meetings to communicate findings and help teams mitigate risks.
  • Mentor and support L1 engineers and junior cybersecurity team members in VAPT tasks.
  • Prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-4 years of experience in VAPT, including web, network, and mobile security testing.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Wireshark, Kali Linux, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash for automation and testing scripts.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks (OWASP Top 10, SANS 25, MITRE ATT&CK).
• Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security controls.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical findings to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker).
• Experience in Red Team/Blue Team operations.
• Previous experience mentoring or leading junior engineers.
