Job Description

ClearLite INC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Network Engineer to join our team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting, with a focus on ensuring network performance, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

  • Design & Implementation: Lead and deliver complex network projects (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, etc.). Configure and install network devices; ensure performance, security, and scalability.
  • Maintenance & Monitoring: Manage and maintain local, wide, and wireless networks. Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize network efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve network issues; handle on-call duties for emergency issues.
  • Security: Implement and test robust security measures; develop disaster recovery plans.
  • Collaboration: Work with engineering, IT support, and other teams to deliver network solutions; produce design documents and instructions.
  • Capacity Planning: Conduct assessments to ensure the network scales with growing demands and recommend performance improvements.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on networking technologies and best practices.
Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field.
• Experience: 7+ years in network engineering with expertise in Cisco technologies, routing protocols, VLANs, and network storage.
• Skills: Proficiency in Linux, SQL Server, and virtualization. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Master's Degree.
• Certifications: CCNA or similar.
• Experience: Manufacturing industry expertise and hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and automation.
