Job Description
NMS Consultant is looking for an experienced SOC Manager to lead our Security Operations Center (SOC) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing SOC operations, managing a team of analysts, and ensuring the effective operation of cybersecurity monitoring, incident detection, and response.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the Security Operations Center.
- Lead and mentor a team of SOC analysts.
- Monitor and analyze security incidents using Qradar Admin tools.
- Ensure timely incident detection, response, and resolution.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to improve security policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
Job Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in SOC management and cybersecurity.
• Strong experience with Qradar Admin.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity practices, threat detection, and incident response.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team.
• Experience in a fast-paced IT environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
• Experience working with advanced cybersecurity tools and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
