Job Description
Intertecsys is seeking a skilled SOC L2 Engineer with a minimum of 6-7 years of experience in SOC Operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SOC Operations, particularly in L3 Analyst roles, and possess expertise in tools such as SIEM Splunk, EDR CrowdStrike, and Mimecast for Email Security Gateway. Experience in Vulnerability Management, Brand Monitoring Tools, Threat hunting, and mitigation, as well as Forensics and Investigation, is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Risk assessment and follow-up on treatment for all verticals and domains
- Conduct Cloud Risk assessment and follow-ups
- Collect and follow-up on ISO 27001 metrics data
- Track and mitigate vulnerability alerts
- Monitor API Security controls
- Ensure baseline compliance on various systems/applications
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in SOC Operations
• Proficiency in SIEM Splunk Tool Operations and EDR CrowdStrike Operations
• Familiarity with Mimecast (Email Security Gateway)
• Strong understanding of Vulnerability Management and Brand Monitoring Tools
• Experience in Threat hunting, Forensics, and Investigation
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent
• Experience with ISO 27001 metrics collection
