Job Description
PRISM INC is seeking skilled SOC L1 Analysts to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience and hold an active CompTIA Security+ CE certification with Secret Clearance. As a SOC L1 Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events, investigating incidents, and providing initial incident response.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security event logs and alerts.
- Investigate and analyze security incidents.
- Provide initial incident response and escalation as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to mitigate security threats.
- Maintain documentation and reports related to security incidents.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security technologies.
Job Requirements
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a security operations center (SOC) or related role.
• Active CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
• Secret Clearance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Additional cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH).
• Experience with SIEM tools and security technologies.
