Job Description

Crystal Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced SOC Analyst to join our team in Nagpur. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity, particularly within a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment. This role involves monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity incidents to protect our company’s data and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security events and alerts from various sources, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and other security tools.
  • Investigate security incidents to determine the cause and impact, and coordinate response efforts.
  • Analyze threat intelligence to proactively identify potential security risks.
  • Create and maintain documentation of security incidents and response activities.
  • Collaborate with other IT and security teams to implement and enhance security measures.
  • Provide recommendations for improving security posture based on incident analysis and threat trends.
Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in a SOC environment or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, SIEM tools, and incident response methodologies.
• Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
• Experience with threat hunting and threat intelligence platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud security practices and tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
