Job Description
Network Intelligence is hiring a skilled SOC Analyst L2 to strengthen our Security Operations Center (SOC) team. As an L2 SOC Analyst, you will be responsible for deeper analysis and response to security incidents, ensuring effective threat mitigation and assisting in incident resolution. You will also work closely with L1 analysts to handle escalated incidents and provide expert guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate escalated security incidents from L1 analysts.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of security events using SIEM and other monitoring tools.
- Identify and respond to advanced threats and vulnerabilities.
- Perform root cause analysis and incident remediation.
- Develop and implement security incident response plans.
- Collaborate with the threat intelligence team to enhance detection capabilities.
- Create detailed reports and documentation on security incidents.
Job Requirements
• 2-3 years of experience as an SOC Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in using SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
• In-depth knowledge of network security, incident response, and threat hunting.
• Familiarity with malware analysis and forensic techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools for SOC operations.
