Job Description
Outworx is seeking a skilled SOC Analyst L1 to join our team in Pune. As an SOC Analyst L1, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents detected by our security systems.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security events and alerts generated by various security tools.
- Analyze and investigate security incidents to determine the root cause.
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner, following established procedures.
- Document and escalate security incidents as necessary.
- Perform security log analysis and correlation to identify potential security threats.
- Assist in developing and implementing security controls and measures.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a security operations center (SOC) environment.
• Strong understanding of network and system security principles.
• Experience with security incident response and handling.
• Knowledge of SIEM tools, such as Splunk or QRadar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP.
• Experience with threat intelligence platforms.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
