Job Description
LT Harper is seeking experienced SOC Analysts to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience and be passionate about defensive security. This role offers the opportunity to work with the latest technology stack in the industry and be mentored by renowned industry leaders. While the position is fully remote, candidates must be based within Wales and eligible for SC Clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security event logs and alerts.
- Analyze security incidents and determine appropriate response actions.
- Collaborate with team members to investigate and mitigate security threats.
- Maintain documentation and reports related to security incidents and investigations.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and industry trends.
Job Requirements
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a security operations center (SOC) or related role.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eligibility for SC Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP).
• Experience with SIEM tools and security technologies.
