AARNA CYBER DEFENDER PVT. LTD. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SOC Analyst to join our dynamic team. The SOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security incidents to protect the company’s assets from potential threats. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals looking to start their career in cybersecurity.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from various security systems.
- Identify and investigate potential security incidents.
- Escalate incidents as necessary to senior analysts.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security measures and practices.
- Prepare and maintain detailed incident reports.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to enhance threat detection capabilities.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies.
• Previous internship or work experience in a cybersecurity role.
