Job Description

Zelis is seeking a proficient Server Administrator to join our team in Hyderabad. As a Server Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our server infrastructure to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our IT systems.
Responsibilities:

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and software components.
  • Monitoring server performance and capacity to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Implementing and enforcing security measures to protect server infrastructure from cyber threats.
  • Performing routine backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in server administration or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of server virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or VMware Certified Professional.
• Experience with cloud server platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with server automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
