Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for our direct client, the State of Texas. This role requires a highly experienced professional who is passionate about automation, continuous integration, and deployment. The successful candidate must be local to Texas and have previous experience working with state clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure reliability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure security and compliance in all DevOps practices.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Job Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Proven track record in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Texas state agencies.
• Certification in AWS, Azure, or related technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking and security best practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
