Security Specialist – Dubai – 10 to 14 Years Experience
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Security Specialist to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in network and security implementation with a strong understanding of network protocols and hands-on experience with Cisco and other security products. This role is crucial to maintaining and enhancing the security infrastructure for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage network security solutions, ensuring high levels of security and performance.
- Deploy and manage Cisco security products such as FTD Firewalls, Cisco Umbrella SASE, Cisco ISE, Secure Endpoint, and Email Gateways.
- Configure and manage Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches, as well as Cisco ACI.
- Work with other security products such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Check Point Firewalls.
- Implement and manage SD Access, SD-WAN, and DNA Assurance.
- Troubleshoot and optimize security solutions across the network infrastructure.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in network and security implementation.
• Proficiency in network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches, and Cisco ACI.
• Strong expertise in deploying and managing Cisco security products (FTD Firewalls, Cisco Umbrella, Cisco ISE, etc.).
• Experience with other security products such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Check Point Firewalls.
• Familiarity with Cisco SD Access, SD-WAN, and DNA Assurance.
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP Security, Cisco CCIE Security, or similar.
• Experience in cloud security solutions and SASE implementations.
