Security Engineer (VAPT) – Abu Dhabi – 6 to 12 Years Experience
Job Description
Halian is hiring a Security Engineer – VAPT for a leading organization seeking to strengthen its cybersecurity posture and safeguard critical digital assets. This onsite contractual role requires a highly skilled professional with strong expertise in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, cloud security, and incident response.
The ideal candidate must currently be based in the UAE and available to join immediately or within 15 days.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across applications, networks, and infrastructure.
- Manage the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle, including identification, risk rating, remediation tracking, and validation.
- Lead incident response activities and Red Team exercises.
- Ensure robust cloud security configurations, including Azure Landing Zones.
- Oversee Office 365 security compliance and endpoint protection controls.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to enhance overall defensive capabilities.
Job Requirements
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).
• Strong proficiency in tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, and Nmap.
• Experience with vulnerability scanners including Qualys and Nessus.
• Solid expertise in cloud security and endpoint protection.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and remediation coordination skills.
• Currently based in the UAE.
• Available to join immediately or within 15 days.
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CEH, OSCP, or equivalent).
• Experience in Red Team engagements and advanced threat simulation.
• Exposure to enterprise security architecture and compliance frameworks.
