VAPT Security Consultant – Gurgaon – 3 to 5 Years Experience
Job Description
Hitachi Systems is hiring a VAPT Security Consultant to perform end-to-end penetration testing engagements across web applications, APIs, mobile platforms, networks, and cloud environments.
This role requires hands-on expertise in identifying vulnerabilities, performing manual exploitation, and delivering actionable security insights. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically strong, and passionate about ethical hacking and strengthening security postures.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Black-box, Gray-box, and White-box penetration testing.
- Perform manual exploitation including authentication bypass, business logic flaws, injections, and privilege escalation.
- Execute VAPT across web applications, APIs, mobile apps, networks, and infrastructure.
- Assess cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for misconfigurations and security risks.
- Use tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, and OWASP ZAP.
- Prepare high-quality VAPT reports including CVSS scoring, proof of concepts (PoCs), and remediation guidance.
- Interact directly with clients and support remediation validation.
Job Requirements
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in VAPT.
• Strong understanding of web, API, mobile, and network security testing.
• Experience with manual exploitation techniques.
• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or eJPT.
• Experience in client-facing roles and consulting engagements.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and DevSecOps.
