Job Description

Minds United is seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the security architecture for our banking industry clients. This role demands an individual with extensive experience in cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement security architectures for cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide security solutions to mitigate identified risks.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into the application development process.
  • Perform source code reviews and ensure compliance with security protocols such as OWASP standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of network security measures including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and VPNs.
  • Ensure continuous monitoring and improvement of cybersecurity systems and protocols.
  • Manage and maintain security systems including Active Directory, AWS, Azure Active Directory, Checkpoint Firewall, Fortinet Firewall, and Office365.
  • Provide expertise in cyber security audits, compliance, and analysis.
Job Requirements

• Proven experience as an Information Security Architect, with a strong background in Azure and AWS solutions.
• Proficiency in Cisco Networks, network protocols, and security principles.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CEH, and CCNP are highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Python, VB, and web application security.
• In-depth knowledge of cryptography, proxy services, DDOS mitigation, and IT infrastructure security.
• Familiarity with firewalls, DNS, network access controls, and security monitoring tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications in cybersecurity.
• Experience in the banking industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
