Job Description
TechDefence, a leading cybersecurity solutions provider, is expanding its Red Teaming department and seeking a skilled Red Team Engineer. The ideal candidate will simulate real-world cyberattacks, identify critical vulnerabilities, and help strengthen enterprise security posture through advanced adversary emulation and offensive security techniques.
This role requires a proactive security professional who thinks like an attacker while helping organizations build stronger defensive capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced Red Team engagements and adversary simulations.
- Perform Active Directory (AD), web application, network, and cloud exploitation.
- Execute attack simulations to assess detection and response capabilities.
- Collaborate with Blue Teams to conduct Purple Team exercises.
- Develop and refine Red Team methodologies, playbooks, and operational processes.
- Document findings and provide detailed technical reports with remediation guidance.
Job Requirements
• 2–3+ years of hands-on Red Teaming or offensive security experience.
• Strong expertise in Active Directory attack techniques.
• Proficiency with tools such as Cobalt Strike, Metasploit, Burp Suite, and BloodHound.
• Deep understanding of network protocols, privilege escalation, and lateral movement techniques.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• At least one relevant certification: OSCP, CRTP, CRTO, PNPT, or eCPTX.
• Experience with cloud security exploitation and hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with detection evasion and endpoint security bypass techniques.
