Job Description
Alchemy Solutions is seeking a skilled Network/NOC Engineer – L2 to join our team in Jackson, MI. This is a contract position for 6+ months with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in event monitoring, incident management, and various monitoring tools.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage network events using alert monitoring tools.
- Handle incident management and resolution.
- Utilize ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Maintain and support telecommunication equipment, including radio and wireless networks.
- Monitor applications, with a preference for SAP Monitoring using tools like SolMan and CA Wily.
Job Requirements
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in supporting event monitoring.
• Proficiency in alert monitoring tools; HP Open View Operations and SolarWinds are preferred, but Site Scope and other tools are also acceptable.
• Experience in incident management and handling.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools, particularly ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of telecommunication equipment, including radio and wireless networks, and IT communication tower hardware.
• Application monitoring experience, preferably with SAP Monitoring.
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant certifications in network and telecommunication systems.
