Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at PROZ TECHNOLOGIES. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Provide first-level support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
- Assist users with account setups, password resets, and system access.
System Maintenance:
- Track and manage IT support requests through a ticketing system.
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
- Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved satisfactorily.
Asset Management:
- Maintain an inventory of IT hardware and software assets.
- Assist in the procurement and setup of new equipment as needed.
- Ensure all IT assets are recorded and tracked in the company’s asset management system.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in an IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent are desirable.
