Job Description
People Prime Worldwide is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Senior Analyst specializing in Qualys Vulnerability Management to support SOC operations and manage the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Qualys tools, global infrastructure vulnerability scanning, risk analysis based on CVE/CVSS scoring, and stakeholder reporting. This role requires ownership of security issues from discovery through remediation and closure, working closely with SOC and infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle using Qualys VM.
- Perform vulnerability scanning across global infrastructure environments.
- Handle SCA/Policy Compliance, Cloud Agent, Container, and Cloud Security modules in Qualys.
- Conduct CVE/CVSS-based risk analysis and validate false positives.
- Track remediation efforts and coordinate with infrastructure teams.
- Develop dashboards, security metrics, and monthly/quarterly stakeholder reports.
- Support change management processes related to vulnerability remediation.
- Work across Windows, Linux, and AIX environments.
Job Requirements
• Strong hands-on experience with Qualys Vulnerability Management.
• Experience in SOC operations and vulnerability remediation workflows.
• In-depth understanding of CVE, CVSS scoring, and risk prioritization.
• Experience in global infrastructure vulnerability scanning.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and AIX operating systems.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Terraform, Python, and scripting.
• Exposure to cloud and container security environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with SOC and infrastructure teams.
