Qualys WAS Specialist – Work From Home – 3 to 6 Years Experience
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Qualys WAS Specialist with strong hands-on experience in web application security and vulnerability management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing web application scanning, identifying vulnerabilities, and driving remediation efforts while supporting secure development practices.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate Qualys WAS, VMDR, and EASM solutions
- Perform web application vulnerability assessments and scans
- Handle the end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle
- Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk impact
- Track remediation and ensure timely closure of findings
- Conduct VAPT for web and network environments
- Collaborate with development teams to support AppSec and DevSecOps initiatives
- Prepare reports and dashboards for stakeholders
Job Requirements
• 3–6 years of experience in application security or vulnerability management
• Hands-on expertise in Qualys WAS, VMDR, and EASM
• Strong understanding of web application vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10)
• Experience in remediation tracking and risk prioritization
• Knowledge of VAPT (Web and Network)
• Basic understanding of AppSec and DevSecOps practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications
• Experience with secure coding practices
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
