Cyber Security Analyst (L2) – Navi Mumbai – 5 to 11 Years Experience
Job Description
We are looking for experienced and highly skilled Cyber Security Professionals (L2) to join our growing security team. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in cybersecurity operations, incident handling, and advanced security technologies. This role requires proactive monitoring, threat detection, and effective response to complex security incidents within enterprise environments.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to advanced security incidents and alerts
- Perform in-depth investigation and root cause analysis of security events
- Manage and optimize SIEM, EDR/XDR, and firewall solutions
- Implement and fine-tune security controls and policies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation actions
- Collaborate with L1 teams and provide escalation support
- Prepare incident reports and maintain detailed documentation
- Stay updated with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends
Job Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity (L2 level)
• Strong hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, and firewall technologies
• Expertise in firewalls such as Check Point, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet, and Palo Alto
• Experience with endpoint security solutions like Trend Micro and Symantec Endpoint Protection
• Solid understanding of load balancing technologies
• Relevant certifications such as CEH or Certified in Cyber Security (CC)
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and incident response skills
Preferred Qualifications
• OEM certifications in SIEM, Firewall, ADC, or EDR/XDR technologies
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Knowledge of threat intelligence and advanced persistent threats (APT)
• Familiarity with compliance standards and frameworks
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
