Cyber Security Analyst – Bangalore – 5 to 11 Years Experience
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Cyber Security Analyst to support security operations for a leading quantitative investment management firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats while improving overall security posture across systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and respond to security incidents across multiple platforms
- Operate and enhance security monitoring and detection capabilities
- Manage vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and risk assessments
- Perform root cause analysis and impact assessments
- Develop and implement incident response playbooks and escalation workflows
- Secure and harden Windows systems and environments
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to improve security controls
Job Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
• Strong experience in incident response and threat analysis
• Hands-on experience in vulnerability management and penetration testing
• Knowledge of security monitoring tools and detection mechanisms
• Strong understanding of network and system security concepts
• Experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, Security+)
• Experience with SIEM tools and SOC operations
• Knowledge of cloud security concepts
• Familiarity with scripting or automation
