Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join our team at a leading Islamic Bank in Bahrain. The successful candidate will oversee and manage the information security program, ensuring the protection of our company’s digital assets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust information security strategy.
- Lead and manage the information security team.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Assess and mitigate risks to information security.
- Oversee incident response and recovery.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of security measures.
Job Requirements
• Minimum of eight years of experience in information security.
• At least three years in a leadership role, managing information security teams.
• Professional qualifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM are mandatory.
• Strong understanding of information security management, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the banking or financial services sector.
• Knowledge of Islamic banking practices.
• Advanced degree in information security or a related field.
