Job Description

FirstMile IT Services Inc is hiring for one of the best leading organizations. We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Architect with a deep technical background in infrastructure design, build, and deployment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in private and public cloud, networking, connectivity, storage, virtualization, and identity.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Azure networking for enterprise organizations
  • Build hybrid environments to integrate existing customer networks with Azure
  • Secure, manage, and monitor Azure environments
  • Develop and deploy resilient Azure cloud architectures
  • Migrate and modernize workloads from on-premise data centers to Azure
  • Utilize Azure platform services to create PaaS solutions
  • Build and deploy Azure resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Use Azure CLI, PowerShell/Azure PowerShell, and the Azure Portal for deployments
  • Implement configuration management and automation using tools such as PowerShell DSC, Chef, and Puppet
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (VSTS) to deploy both infrastructure and applications
Job Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in infrastructure design, build, and deployment
• Proficiency in Azure networking, storage, and virtualization
• Experience in hybrid cloud environments and Azure security
• Knowledge of migrating on-premise workloads to Azure
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Skilled in Azure platform services for PaaS solutions
• Experience with IaC using Azure CLI, PowerShell, and the Azure Portal
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like PowerShell DSC, Chef, and Puppet
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps (VSTS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certification(s)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
