Job Description
Orbus International is seeking a Web Application Firewall (WAF) Engineer to monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance web application security. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with F5 ASM/AWAF, Akamai Kona, and network security.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage web application firewalls (F5, Akamai) to prevent cyber threats.
- Conduct security audits and ensure best practices in WAF implementation.
- Troubleshoot and optimize WAF policies to enhance application security.
- Collaborate with security teams to strengthen defense mechanisms against web-based attacks.
- Develop automation scripts using Python or PowerShell to streamline security processes.
Job Requirements
• 4-6 years of experience in Web Application Security and WAF management.
• Strong hands-on experience with F5 ASM/AWAF and Akamai Kona.
• Knowledge of network security principles and attack mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency in Python or PowerShell for automation.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or F5 Certified Administrator are a plus.
• Experience with cloud-based WAF solutions and security frameworks.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for security incident response.
