Job Description

UltraViolet Cyber is seeking an experienced IT Security Auditor to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in conducting security audits and assessments within complex IT environments. We are looking for professionals who can join us immediately, with a notice period of 0 to 15 days.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive security audits and assessments following industry standards like NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and ISMS.
  • Perform risk assurance and ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices.
  • Analyze and interpret technical documents, such as User Requirements Specifications (URS) and Technical Design Specifications (TDS).
  • Identify vulnerabilities, assess the risk of cyber-attacks, and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Monitor and interpret Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) data.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, focusing on security audits and assessments.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO) and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in reviewing technical documents and architectural diagrams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HIPAA, ISO 27001, and other security standards.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and risk assurance processes.
