Job Description
We are hiring an Application Security Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for conducting application security testing and identifying vulnerabilities in applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both automated tools and manual testing, along with a keen interest in cybersecurity.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Application Security Testing (DAST, SAST, Manual Penetration Testing)
- Identify and distinguish false positives, and non-compliance with security standards
- Create detailed reports based on test outcomes, explain vulnerabilities to application owners, and track remediation
- Collaborate with teams across multiple locations to meet yearly application testing targets
Job Requirements
• Experience in running automated DAST/SAST tools
• Proficiency with manual testing using Burpsuite or other proxy tools
• In-depth understanding of application security vulnerabilities and ability to communicate them to application owners
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Team player who can work effectively with distributed teams
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of ISO 27K controls
• Security certifications like CISSP, CISA, CySA
Educational Qualification:
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
