Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure data platforms and related technologies, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure
  • Implement data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and other tools
  • Optimize performance and troubleshoot data systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability and accuracy
  • Provide support for data architecture and ensure best practices are followed
Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in Azure
• Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and other Azure data services
• Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data pipelines
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, and other programming languages used in data engineering
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate)
• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop
• Familiarity with data security best practices and governance
• Knowledge of data modeling and architecture
