Job Description

Infoshare Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Associate Security Consultant specializing in Attack and Penetration Testing (VAPT). The successful candidate will have 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in various security testing methodologies, including Web Application, Mobile, API, and Network Penetration Testing, as well as Source Code Review, Static Application Security Testing (SAST), and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and networks.
  • Perform source code reviews to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Execute both Static and Dynamic Application Security Testing (SAST & DAST).
  • Generate detailed reports outlining identified vulnerabilities, potential risks, and recommended mitigations.
  • Collaborate with the development and operations teams to implement security improvements.
  • Stay updated on the latest security threats, tools, and methodologies.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security consultants.
Job Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT).
• Proficiency in tools and technologies related to web, mobile, API, and network penetration testing.
• Strong understanding of security testing methodologies, SAST, and DAST.
• Experience in source code review for security vulnerabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex security issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or similar.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and best practices in information security.
• Experience in mentoring or leading junior security professionals.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for cybersecurity.
