IT Support Specialist – Austria – 3 to 7 Years Experience

BCIC Swiss GmBH is seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team in Krems, Austria. The successful candidate will provide essential support for our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all computer systems and associated hardware. This role is integral to maintaining high levels of productivity and efficiency across the company.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to resolve complex AV issues as required.
• Communicate promptly about issue status and resolution.
• Maintain updated records for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2010, Cisco Jabber, and other authorized desktop applications.
• Support Apple PC users with basic knowledge of the Mac operating system.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
• Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers.
• Conduct remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues related to network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.
• Demonstrate a broad understanding of IT, including basic knowledge of networks, servers, audio/visual equipment, smart devices, and telecommunications.
• Work effectively in a project-based environment, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
