Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled L2 Engineer to join our NOC-SDWan team at L A Technologies Pvt Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, with specific expertise in LAN, WAN, Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus, Cisco Catalyst Switches, ASR Routers, and Firewall technologies (Fortigate, Cisco FTD, Sdwan).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the monitoring system, and handle fault management.
  • Respond to escalated calls from the L2 team within the defined time frame.
  • Work according to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to LAN, WAN, and networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Static Route, HSRP, VLAN, Port-channel).
  • Implement and review CR/ECR before and after deployment.
  • Manage firewall technologies, including VPN, NAT, Access policies, and SSL.
Job Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in networking.
• Strong knowledge of SDWAN (40%), Routing & Switching (30%), and Firewall (30%).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus, Cisco Catalyst Switches, ASR Routers, and Fortigate, Cisco FTD, and SDWAN firewalls.
• Proficient in LAN/WAN and transport technologies.
• Experience with L2 protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.).
• Certification in CCNA/CCNP or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in handling escalated calls and working in a NOC environment.
• Advanced certifications related to networking and security.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
