Job Description
ProTech ITS is seeking a skilled L1 Network (NOC) Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of networking concepts and strong communication skills, as they will interact with various global teams. This role involves troubleshooting network issues, handling customer support, and performing basic hardware and software maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve network issues related to node/link down, latency, and packet drops
- Provide efficient customer support via phone and email
- Troubleshoot basic desktop and laptop issues
- Perform router setup, firewall configuration, and port forwarding
- Install and terminate ethernet cables
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of switches, bridges, wireless controllers, and access points
Job Requirements
• Graduate/Post Graduate in a relevant field
• 1-4 years of experience in network support or a similar role
• Strong communication and customer support skills
• Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of network hardware and setup
Preferred Qualifications
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent
• Experience with ethernet cable installation and terminations
