Entra ID SME (Senior Subject Matter Expert) – Bangalore – 5 to 15 Years Experience
Job Description
Cognizant is expanding its Cybersecurity and Identity teams and is hiring experienced Entra ID Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). This role requires strong technical expertise and hands-on implementation experience in identity and access management solutions.
The ideal candidate will lead technical delivery, design secure identity architectures, and support enterprise-scale deployments of Microsoft Entra ID solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Entra ID environments
- Configure identity governance, conditional access, and authentication policies
- Lead migration and integration projects involving cloud and hybrid identity models
- Implement Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and identity protection solutions
- Troubleshoot complex identity and access-related issues
- Provide technical leadership and guide delivery teams
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
Job Requirements
• 5–15 years of experience in Identity and Access Management or Cybersecurity
• Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Experience implementing SSO, MFA, and conditional access policies
• Knowledge of hybrid identity environments and directory synchronization
• Proven ability to lead technical delivery and enterprise implementations
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) tools
• Familiarity with network security and IAM integrations
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Security, Identity certifications, CISSP, or equivalent
• Experience working in large enterprise environments
