Senior Cybersecurity Engineer – Abu Dhabi – 5 to 8 Years Experience
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Cybersecurity Operations/SOC team. This critical role focuses on advanced threat detection, incident response, and infrastructure security hardening. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern security tools, frameworks, and enterprise-level defense strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and respond to advanced cybersecurity threats
- Manage vulnerability identification, assessment, and remediation
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures
- Develop and enforce firewall and network security policies
- Operate and optimize SIEM/SOAR platforms and security monitoring tools
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK)
- Strengthen infrastructure security and improve overall security posture
Job Requirements
• 5–8 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity
• Strong expertise in advanced threat investigation and incident response
• Proven experience in vulnerability management and exploitation techniques
• Advanced knowledge of network security, segmentation, and intrusion detection
• Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK
• Hands-on experience with SIEM/SOAR and SOC operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
• Experience with Trellix (McAfee) tools (EDR, ePO, TIE, DLP, Sandbox)
• Experience with Tenable Nessus
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls
• Knowledge of IAM and advanced security technologies
