Senior Security Analyst – L3 (GSOC) – Hyderabad – 6 to 12 Years Experience
Job Description
Arete is seeking an experienced Senior Security Analyst – L3 to join its Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) team. This role is designed for a seasoned cybersecurity professional with strong expertise in security operations and threat hunting. The ideal candidate will lead advanced investigations, mentor junior analysts, and enhance detection and response capabilities.
Preference will be given to immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of less than 30 days.
Responsibilities:
- Lead advanced security investigations and incident response activities.
- Perform proactive threat hunting across enterprise environments.
- Analyze complex security alerts, logs, and network traffic.
- Develop and optimize SIEM detection rules and use cases.
- Guide and mentor L1 and L2 analysts within the GSOC.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve overall security posture.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and executive-level summaries.
Job Requirements
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in Security Operations and Threat Hunting.
• Strong expertise in SIEM platforms, log analysis, and endpoint detection tools.
• Deep understanding of attack techniques, tactics, and threat actor methodologies.
• Experience handling high-severity security incidents.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Availability to join immediately or within 30 days.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications such as CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, CEH, or equivalent.
• Experience working in enterprise or global SOC environments.
