Team Manager – SOX ITGC & SOX Audit – Bangalore – 5 to 7 Years Experience

Live Connections is seeking a Team Manager experienced in SOX ITGC and SOX Audit to join a multinational corporation in both Bangalore and Mumbai locations. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in SOX ITGC and SOX Audit, with a proven record of team management. This role includes managing performance cycles, appraisals, and driving SOX compliance strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all phases of SOX testing and compliance processes, including walkthroughs, key control identification, testing procedure development, execution, and reporting results to management.
• Update process documentation and control matrices for existing SOX processes and assist in preparing documentation for new processes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and external auditors to align SOX testing strategies and enhance internal processes.
• Provide independent validation of management’s action plans and ensure the closure of SOX control deficiencies.
• Ensure timely and quality deliverables, including control effectiveness conclusions and deficiency impacts.
• Serve as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders on SOX and internal control matters.
• Work with technology leads to identify automation opportunities for SOX planning and testing activities.
• Utilize data analytics for enhancing SOX testing processes.
• Offer risk advisory support to business units through strategic projects.
• Promote staff development through coaching, feedback, and active participation in department strategies and initiatives.
