SOC Manager – Theissur – 5 to 10 Years Experience
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SOC Manager to lead and enhance our Security Operations Center (SOC). The ideal candidate will drive service improvement, manage threat detection, and oversee incident response programs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a Quarterly SOC Service Improvement Plan.
- Conduct SOC maturity assessments and gap analysis.
- Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and emerging threats.
- Work with the use case development team to improve alert detection rules.
- Lead proactive threat hunting activities.
- Monitor SLA compliance and ensure continuous operational improvements.
- Manage the incident response program, covering detection, containment, and recovery.
- Oversee security technologies such as CASB, IPS, FIREWALL, DLP, IAM/PIM/PAM, and XDR.
- Generate and present SOC operation reports to senior management.
- Utilize SIEM tools, security log analysis, and threat intelligence platforms.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in SOC management.
• Prior experience in deploying, configuring, and managing security technologies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST.
• Familiarity with VAPT, malware analysis, and network security.
Preferred Qualifications
• Industry certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, OSCP, GCIH, CEH.
