SOC Manager – Saudi Arabia – 1 to 3 Years Experience
Job Description
Marc Ellis is looking for a highly skilled SOC Manager to oversee and enhance Security Operations Center (SOC) processes in Saudi Arabia. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team in a dynamic cybersecurity environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line supervision and leadership to the SOC team.
- Develop and enforce SOC controls, policies, and procedures to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Produce and analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement.
- Enhance the SOC’s efficiency and effectiveness through process improvements and better communication.
- Conduct cybersecurity training and exercises to maintain team proficiency.
- Review and implement lessons learned and best practices for SOC operations.
Job Requirements
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field.
• Supervisory or technical team lead experience.
• Expertise in SIEM (preferably ArcSight) and IRP technologies.
• Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
• Security Essentials – SEC401 (GSEC certification optional).
• Advanced Security Essentials – SEC501 (GCED certification optional).
• Intrusion Detection in Depth – SEC503.
• Certified on the proposed SIEM/IRP solution.
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong leadership and coordination skills.
• Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic changes.
