Job Description
Mindtel Global is looking for an experienced SOC Manager – Lead to head our Security Operations Center. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing SOC teams, incident response, threat detection, and ensuring compliance with industry frameworks. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage SOC teams including L1, L2, L3, threat hunters, and incident responders
- Define SOC strategy, KPIs, and metrics aligned with organizational goals
- Serve as the escalation point for major security incidents and executive-level communication
- Ensure 24×7 monitoring and response across SIEM, SOAR, EDR, UEBA, NDR, and cloud environments
- Oversee full incident response lifecycle: detection, containment, remediation, and recovery
- Continuously enhance SOC operations through playbooks, runbooks, and automation
- Track and report SOC KPIs like MTTR, SLA adherence, false positives, and threat coverage
- Ensure compliance with frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, DESC ISR, and NESA
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new security tools
- Lead cyber simulation exercises (red/blue/purple team drills)
Job Requirements
• 7–10 years of experience in cybersecurity
• 3–5 years in SOC leadership or managerial roles
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and threat intelligence tools
• Deep understanding of security frameworks and operational metrics
Preferred Qualifications
• Professional certifications: CISSP, CISM, GIAC (GCIA, GCIH, GCFA)
• ITIL or PMP certification for project and operational management
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
