PurpleSynapz is looking for an experienced SOC Manager for a 6-month contract role with one of our partners. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in SIEM engineering and SOC operations. Excellent communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Lead SOC operations and ensure efficient incident detection and response.
- Oversee SIEM engineering, log management, and threat detection.
- Develop and implement security monitoring strategies.
- Work closely with teams to improve SOC processes and security frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
Job Requirements
• Minimum 10-11 years of experience in SOC operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with SIEM engineering and security monitoring.
• Ability to handle incident response, threat intelligence, and security investigations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, SIEM-specific certifications).
• Experience working in fast-paced security environments.
