Job Description
Skill Quotient is looking for a dedicated SOC L1 Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about cybersecurity and eager to contribute to 24×7 security operations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security events using tools like MS Sentinel or IBM QRadar.
- Identify and respond to security incidents as part of a 24×7 shift.
- Assist in managing and maintaining SOC operations.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve security alerts and escalate issues when needed.
- Stay updated on the latest security technologies and best practices.
Job Requirements
• 0-3 years of experience in IT.
• 0-1 year of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
• Availability to work in a 24x7 shift rotation.
Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with MS Sentinel or IBM QRadar is highly desirable.
• Basic knowledge of security monitoring tools and incident response procedures.
