Job Description
Cyberpoint is hiring enthusiastic and motivated interns to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain real-world experience in cybersecurity operations, tools, and frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts
- Support basic incident detection and response
- Perform research on emerging threats and vulnerabilities
- Learn and work with SIEM, EDR, and other security tools
- Collaborate with the team on real-time security use cases and improvements
Job Requirements
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related fields
• Basic understanding of networking concepts
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Strong interest in cybersecurity
• Ability to research and learn independently
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• English proficiency (reading and writing)
Preferred Qualifications
• Basic knowledge of security tools (SIEM, EDR, antivirus)
• Awareness of the MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, BTL1, SAL1)
• Experience on platforms like TryHackMe, Hack The Box, BTLO
• Basic understanding of incident response and log analysis
