Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled SOC Engineer – L3 to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This position requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies and incident response. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6-7 years of experience in SOC operations, with a strong focus on network and security solutions. The role is based onsite in Kuala Lumpur, and we prefer local candidates for this opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and respond to security incidents within the SOC environment.
  • Utilize cybersecurity technologies and solutions, such as SIEM, SOAR, Firewalls, IAM, IDS/IPS, and Endpoint Protection.
  • Analyze and mitigate current hacking techniques, vulnerabilities, and security incidents.
  • Implement and follow security frameworks, standards, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to strengthen the organization’s security posture.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior SOC engineers.
Job Requirements

• Minimum of 6-7 years of professional experience in SOC operations and/or incident response.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity and network technologies, including SIEM, SOAR, Firewalls, IAM, IDS/IPS, and Endpoint Protection.
• Familiarity with security frameworks, standards, and guidelines.
• Strong understanding of current hacking techniques, vulnerability disclosures, and data breach incidents.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
• Experience in threat management and intelligence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
