Job Description
Bolton Technology is seeking a skilled SOC Analyst with 2 to 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in monitoring and analyzing security threats, detecting incidents, and ensuring the security of our network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security incidents and alerts.
- Identify, track, and respond to security threats in real-time.
- Perform initial triage of security events and escalate issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance security protocols and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend security improvements.
- Document and report incidents, findings, and recommendations.
Job Requirements
• 2 to 3 years of experience as a SOC Analyst.
• Strong understanding of security monitoring tools and incident management.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, threat landscapes, and attack vectors.
• Experience with SIEM solutions and log analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Relevant security certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP are a plus.
